Introducing the TT Final Edition
To mark the end of 25 years of production of the iconic and brilliant Audi TT, a final specification has been introduced. Benefiting from multiple interior and exterior styling updates, the Final Edition is a fitting and celebratory tribute.
Celebrating twenty-five years, three generations. Unfortunately, that legacy comes to a close later this year. To celebrate the model’s success Audi have launched the TT RS Iconic Edition, a global limited run of just 100 units which are now all sold, and our UK-specific Final Edition trim levels, which opened for ordering in March.
The TT was first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1995 before entering mass production in 1998. The model’s recognisable silhouette has remained throughout its lifetime (with only minor variations) of three generations including our Final Edition, a testament to its success.
In 2006 the second generation coupé was launched, followed by the roadster a year later. Ten years after production started, the TTS arrived in 2008, with the TT RS being introduced the following year.
The third and final generation was released in 2014, with upgrades such as the virtual cockpit, OLED technology and improvements to the weight, being 50 kilograms lighter than before.
Designed with exclusive features, an increased level of standard equipment and a sophisticated black styling pack, the TT Final Edition marks the end of the TT models perfectly. Sitting at the top the range in the TT line up, the Final Edition specification will be available on the TT and TTS Coupe and Roadster.
Both models will be available as standard in Tango red, Glacier white, and Chronos grey metallic paint, both housing the eye catching red brake callipers. On the TT model, these will be housed behind 20” 5-spoke Y- style diamond cut alloy wheels while on TTS they will sit behind 20” 7-spoke rotor Audi Sport alloy wheels, similar to the specification of the limited run TT RS Iconic Edition.
The sophisticated black styling pack includes Black Audi rings and badging, black door mirrors, black tailpipes and a black fixed rear spoiler.
The TT Final Edition models include Technology Pack as standard, adding MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch and Audi Connect Infotainment Services (36-month subscription). On the TTS, Comfort and Sound pack is also added as a standard, bringing a Bang and Olufsen sound system, Advanced key, Reversing camera, and a full suite of parking sensors.
The interior is smart, sleek, and full of state-of-the-art technology, benefitting from unique styling features such as an alcantara steering wheel with red stitching and a red 12 o’clock marker. Red stitching also features on the seats and armrests, as well as the air vents, seat sides, centre consoles, and floor mats housing red design elements.
