The New A3 Sportback and Saloon
The A3 Sportback and Saloon have been upgraded for 2025 model year with a sportier more progressive exterior and interior design, selectable daytime running light signatures, new technology and even more standard equipment.
The front of the A3, especially in the S line (and Black Edition trim), features a redesigned hexagonal singleframe grille that is flatter and wider, creating an impactful and sporty impression. Dominating the front end, it symbolises the compact model's athletic character alongside large angular side air intakes. The front spoiler connects the intakes, giving the A3 a lower appearance. The rear showcases a new bumper and distinctive diffuser, inspired by RS models. Combined with the S line exterior, these design elements, including two new metallic finishes (District Green and Progressive Red), enhance the dynamic look.
For the first time on the A3 allows users to choose and switch between various digital daytime running light signatures using the MMI system. With LED headlights, up to two designs can be selected, and up to four with Matrix LED headlights. This flexibility empowers customers to alter their model's appearance. The LED and Matrix LED headlights use 24 pixel elements in three rows on the upper edge of the housing to create digital daytime running lights. The headlights, characterised by a wedge-shaped, flat form and wide light graphics, accentuate the sporty character of the A3 models.
The new A3's driver-centric interior has undergone significant enhancements, resulting in a more technical and sophisticated appearance. Notable updates include a redesigned centre console with a new finish, an innovative gear shifter design, modified air vents, fresh decorative fabric inlays, and new interior lighting. The chrome-finished blade design on the outer surface of the air vents creates a sleeker appearance, emphasizing the cockpit's width. Inside door handles feature a new effect finish, and the centre console, equipped with adjustable armrests and cup holders, provides added convenience.
