From every perspective. From the widened single frame, to the side air intakes with sporty chrome trims, to the narrow headlights – the progressive nature A6 Saloon front gives a great impression at first sight. The sharpened shoulder line with strong curves above the wheel arches accentuates the quattro inheritance. The exterior mirrors have a sporty location by the armrest. Moreover, the coupé-like flowing roofline elegantly leads into the rear end, formed in three dimensions with a characteristic aluminium style.
EVERY ADVANCE NEEDS AN ENGINE - OR TWO
Efficiency and power both have the upper hand in the Audi A6 TFSI e Saloon - thanks to the advanced combination of combustion engine and electric motor, The 50 TFSI e quattro has a system output of 299 hp. With three different driving modes, you can actively determine whether the electric motor, the combustion engine or an efficient combination of both should be primarily used.
The recuperative braking system enables the recovery of electrical energy in all modes and thus an extension of the electrical range while driving. The high-resolution Audi virtual cockpit, which shows you all important vehicle information, is standard. Among other things, you can keep track of the battery charge status, remaining electrical range and other information about the plug-in hybrid drive.
FUTURISTIC & CLEAN
On the sleek instrument panel of the A6, a technical, futuristic black-panel design dominates which impressively combines form and function. The design language appears reduced and matter-of-fact; the horizontal lines create an airy sense of space. The centre console and the two MMI touch response displays are angled slightly toward the driver. When switched off, the top display is incorporated almost invisibly into the dark decorative surface.
The wide range of colours and materials lend the interior design very different characteristics – from elegant through contemporary to sporty. Five interior trim lines are available with different colour concepts: basic, sport, design, design selection and the S line sport package with 19-inch wheels and sport suspension.
