The Continental GT S combines bold sports styling with an agile drive, resulting in a luxury grand tourer with a thrilling edge. Instantly recognisable, thanks to its dark exterior detailing, this is a leaner, meaner take on the Continental GT.
The story continues beneath the bonnet, where its twin-turbocharged V8 engine lies in wait. When you’re ready to head out, four driving modes let you explore every aspect of your car’s unique character, from relaxed city cruising to the excitement of the open road.
Design
Elliptical quad tailpipes hint at the potent engine sound, while a discreet V8 badge placed on the fender speaks to the exciting drive to come. Striking 20” ten-spoke painted alloy wheels, available only for the new Continental GT V8 coupé and convertible, have the spokes arranged in symmetrical pairs to make the already dynamic profile even more dramatic.
Inside the car, a single hide colour is used throughout for a look that combines elegance with simplicity. You can choose from five exquisite colours, including Beluga and Cricket Ball – if you wish to explore a wider range of options, or add a secondary colour, there are, of course, many ways to personalise your car - read below to explore more.
The hides are complemented perfectly by the contemporary Crown Cut Walnut veneer as standard, sustainably sourced from the American Black Walnut tree. A further range of optional veneers includes the stunning Piano Black, and any veneer can be enhanced by adding a sleek Chrome Pin Stripe.
Performance
Discover a truly captivating driving experience. With twin-scroll turbochargers located inside the V of the engine, the new Continental GT V8 is exceptionally responsive, delivering breathtaking acceleration accompanied by the irresistible sound of a Bentley V8 engine unleashing its immense power – which is especially intense in Sport mode.
The result is a car that can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and take you to a top speed of 198 mph.
The variable displacement technology used within the new Continental GT V8’s engine increases efficiency without compromising on performance. When the engine’s control microprocessor detects a light throttle opening, it closes the valves on four of the cylinders, seamlessly switching back to all eight whenever needed without the driver even noticing. The result is an impressive range of over 500 miles*
Technology
Enjoy a wealth of My Bentley* services designed to make the journey smarter, safer and more convenient. Apple CarPlay®lets you control your iPhone® through the car’s touchscreen, and Satellite maps allows the navigation to display a photorealistic landscape. Private eCall notifies emergency services in a critical situation, while Perimeter alert warns you if your car moves out of a specified area. Find my car shows you where you parked your car through the My Bentley app, and Activate heating lets you heat the cabin remotely before you open the door.
