The E-Class Cabriolet
Bold new styling elements include the Cabriolet’s reworked fascia, with its dramatic, scooped-out air intakes and striking single-louvre radiator grille. In addition, the familiar twin headlamp design seen on previous E-Class models has evolved into a striking new one-piece partial LED unit.
In profile, a powerful shoulder line and belt line surge back towards flared rear wheel arches and a muscular rear-end, complete with LED rear lamps. Both the AMG Line model lines also feature AMG bodystyling and distinctive twin-pipe exhaust system.
Safety
A range of advanced safety features on the E-Class Cabriolet includes COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS, which gives the driver a visual and acoustic warning if the set safety distance from a vehicle ahead or a stationary obstacle narrows.
Also standard, ATTENTION ASSIST monitors the driver’s steering behaviour for signs of fatigue and issues an alert if required. Other standard safety measures range from the PRE-SAFE® anticipatory safety system to the Active bonnet, which reduces the injury risks to pedestrians in an impact.
Mercedes-AMG
The Mercedes E-Class E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet combines powerful performance with high efficiency for a Mercedes-AMG experience that does not disappoint. Fitted with a 6-cylinder in-line engine, it generates 435 hp (320 kW) and 520 Nm maximum torque. These sporty credentials are matched by the iconic diamond grille, AMG bodystyling, and ‘BITURBO 4MATIC+’ lettering on the front wings. 19" AMG bi-colour 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels add to the powerful posture.
