I am thrilled to still reflect on the incredible year we had in 2022. As a united team, we dedicated ourselves to delivering excellence daily, from exceptional customer service to going the extra mile for our customers. The "one team" mentality was evident in every aspect of our work.
I am still proud to share that MINI Nottingham emerged as the Number 1 dealership in the entire UK for New Car Profitability with over £1m, whilst also achieving an outstanding 117% of our registration target. This accomplishment, unprecedented in our division, speaks volumes about our collective efforts.
Building on our success, I proudly accepted the MINI Brand Manager Award for Sytner, emphasising continuously that this recognition is a testament to our team's achievements. Furthermore, now being named the Sytner Group New Car Manager of the year is beyond my wildest expectations, considering the exceptional colleagues we have within Sytner. I was a blubbering mess after receiving the award and to be honest I’m not sure it has still fully sunk in!
I want to stress that we win and share success as a team. This achievement is not just mine; it belongs to all of my amazing team at MINI Nottingham. Having worked in this industry for 16 years, I've been privileged to work with some fantastic managers, of whom have inspired me along the way to strive for success as a team. Holding this award as an emotionally unstable wreck on Saturday night was not just a career pinnacle but a nod to myself that years of hard work have begun to pay off, and the feeling of being "good enough" has finally become a reality.
I take immense pride in being part of Sytner Group, particularly with my team here at MINI Nottingham, and I want to express my gratitude to the incredible team around me. Their dedication and hard work have contributed significantly to this remarkable accomplishment.
