MINI INTRODUCES FIRST-EVER HAPPINESS AMBASSADOR

To mark the commencement of International Happiness Month, MINI is thrilled to introduce Emily Coxhead as the brand's inaugural 'Happiness Ambassador.' Emily Coxhead, renowned as the visionary behind The Happy Newspaper – a platform dedicated to spreading positive news and celebrating inspiring individuals – joins forces with MINI in their Big Love initiative to bring more brightness to life. Together, they are launching the MINI Positivi-Tea Room at Westfields, White City, this August.

To commemorate International Happiness Month, MINI is delighted to introduce Emily Coxhead as their esteemed 'Happiness Ambassador.'

Renowned for creating The Happy Newspaper, a platform dedicated to uplifting positive news and celebrating remarkable individuals, the British illustrator joins forces with MINI to enhance their Big Love initiative, aiming to brighten lives. Together, they are launching the MINI Positivi-Tea Room at Westfields, White City, this August.

Taking place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August, this immersive pop-up will serve nothing but positivity (and tea). It is thoughtfully designed by Emily to offer passersby an opportunity to rejuvenate and recharge, while being treated to good vibes and complimentary tea. The Positivi-Tea Room provides an ideal space for busy shoppers to relax and take a break from their hectic day, with copies of 'The Happy Newspaper' available for guests to enjoy or take home.

Emily's dedication to spreading happiness led her to launch The Happy Newspaper in 2015 when she realised the negative impact of news on her life. Today, the quarterly newspaper boasts over 400,000 followers on Instagram and 20,000 subscribers across 30 countries, as Emily continues her mission to "sprinkle happiness over the planet."

The pop-up will also feature a MINI Electric Convertible on display, showcasing why MINI Electric drivers can experience more feel-good joy than ever before, enjoying the same fun-filled, joyful driving experience the iconic Convertible is known for, while emitting zero driving emissions.

Aligned with Emily's optimistic outlook, MINI is committed to inspiring positive action through its Big Love ethos. From planting Tiny Forests across the UK to supporting Joe Wicks' efforts in improving mental well-being through exercise, MINI's Big Love initiatives strive to create a brighter future for people, communities, and the planet.

MINI has always held a special place in my heart, as my dad refurbished my mum’s first car, her cherished classic Mini, transforming it into a yellow ray of sunshine named Daisy, a story that is still talked about today. Combining my words and doodles with cups of tea to spread some Big Love to anyone who needs it is sure to make people smile, which aligns perfectly with MINI’s mission.”

The MINI Positivi-Tea Room will be located at Westfields, White City, (North Atrium) on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August 2023.
