Models
POSITIVELY CHARGED
The Škoda Superb iV is Škoda's first model with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining the best of electric and conventional Škoda technology for an eco-friendly yet dynamic drive. The partly closed chrome-plate front grille creates real presence and integrates the charging socket. The Superb iV is available in a Hatch or Estate, with four trims. (SE Technology, SE L, Sportline Plus and L&K).
PROGRESSIVE AND UNIQUE
The e-noise generator makes the sound of a conventional engine at speeds of up to 32 mph to ensure pedestrians know you're coming. The Superb iV's 13 kWh battery and petrol engine offer a range of up to 578 miles. It can be charged in just five hours using a domestic three-pin plug and the Mode 2 cable. Using the Mode 3 cable will provide a 100% charge in three and a half hours. Alternatively, when using the petrol engine the car will recharge the battery using energy created when braking.
DRIVING MODES
The Superb iV has three additional driving modes. E-mode operates the car completely electrically for up to 37 miles*. The average daily commute in the UK is 25 miles. The hybrid mode uses both the electric and the petrol engines, either together or independently depending on the driving conditions. SPORT-mode unleashes the power of the Superb iV's 218PS hybrid drive.
