Emma Henderson, New/Used Car Sales Administrator at Sytner Tamworth, answers our Women in Business questions.
How long have you worked for Sytner BMW/MINI? It will be 20 years this September.
How long have you been in your current role? I've been Sales Admin for 17 years! (Started on Reception, then Group Buying).
What is your favourite part about your current role? I love meeting deadlines, getting the Execs organised, busy month ends - the busier the better!
What motivates you in the morning? Definitely Coffee!!
Three words to describe yourself? Talkative, caring, tropicholic (Tropic Skincare)
What is your greatest achievement? My children Harry, Tyler and Freya and being married to the best husband for 10 years, having a beautiful home in a lovely country village.
What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your role? Attention to detail is key.
How have you seen the Automotive industry landscape change and evolve to engage more women? It's great to see women in the industry, having a female Head of Business is a great example.
Top tip for how you organise your days? I’d be lost without my google calendar I share with my husband, work wise - just communicate with colleagues, its key to know what we’re each doing, team work all the way!
Top tip for working in the automotive industry? To always be friendly with the service department - you never know when you may have a problem with your car!
