Power generated by the 510hp six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology is channelled via the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and split between the four wheels as required. As a result, the BMW M3 Touring delivers blistering performance at all times both on the road and on the track with 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds. Agility and precision in the familiar BMW M tradition combine with unrestricted everyday practicality to give the BMW M3 Touring a distinctive identity showcased by its exterior design.

The rear of the new BMW M3 Competition Touring is defined by the distinct rear bumper with diffuser and the twin tailpipes on either side.

The M Carbon ceramic brake dlivers braking power even more directly. The brake is non-corrosive and tolerates even more heat. It impresses with minimal wear and contributes to a lower vehicle weight, having a positive impact on agility and driving dynamics.

COMPREHENSIVE CONNECTIVITY.

With its large track width and broadly flared wheel arches, the suspension is also optimised specifically for M, providing high performance handling and response.

Inside, the M Carbon steering wheel provides a racing feel. The carbon-fibre trim strips in the spokes surround the operating elements and complement the high-quality feel of the steering wheel. The racing-tested material fits the dynamically designed interior visually.

The large curved BMW Cockpit with a full-colour head-up display projects driving information including speed and navigation instructions straight into the line of vison for a better overview. Smartphone integration also allows your smartphone to wirelessly connect to your vehicle via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Conveniently allowing you to use functions and various apps directly via the control display.

The M gear selector switch, available on the BMW M3 Competition, features an M specific switch pattern and excellent operability. In manual 'S' mode, the selector leaver or paddles on the steering wheel can be used in typical M fashion. In 'D' mode shifting occurs automatically.
