Installation will typically require private off-street parking – such as a driveway or garage – to connect to your home’s electricity.

Suitability Survey

Your chosen charging provider will undertake a survey over the phone or online to determine the suitability of your property for a wall box. General requirements include off-street parking, a suitable electrical power supply to your meter and a 100-amp main fuse.

Arrange Installation Date

Agree an installation date with your chosen provider. If you qualify for the government’s EV chargepoint grant to help with the cost, your provider will claim this on your behalf.
