First MINI Cooper Convertible rolls off the MINI Plant Oxford production line.

Today MINI Plant Oxford celebrates the start of production of the MINI Cooper Convertible for the first time since 2015. The model joins the MINI Cooper 3-Door and MINI Cooper 5-Door, making MINI Plant Oxford the home of the MINI Cooper family. A celebration of British production, all three UK BMW Group manufacturing sites contribute to the MINI Cooper Convertible.

The New MINI Convertible

Following the successful launch of the all-new MINI family throughout the past year, the new MINI Cooper Convertible completes the new MINI family. Offered in a choice of two new petrol models, the MINI Cooper Convertible will begin production at MINI Plant Oxford later this year, following a nine-year hiatus

The New MINI Cooper 5 Door.

New addition to the MINI line up provides further comfort and interior space. Choice of two petrol engines, three trims and nine exterior paint colours including brand new Icy Sunshine Blue.

The all-new electric MINI Aceman.

The latest addition to the new MINI family, the MINI Aceman is the brand’s mid-size all-electric crossover, which combines compact exterior dimensions with a creative use of interior space.
